Since 2000, ENVACON has collaborated with many international diesel engine manufacturers to design, develop, and supply air-intake shut-off valves for their specific air-line piping requirements and application demands; we have direct experience designing and supplying for extremes of heat, vibrations, G-forces, and air-line pressure.

ENVACON offers 'best practices' experience for valve design and development, installation location selection, optimal durability and functionality, and valve actuation and engine control system integration. In conjunction with engine manufacturers, our experience includes involvement in actual diesel engine over-speed tests, and high RPM shutdowns of both small and large bore engines. We understand and address ALL of the risks encountered during an inhaled combustible gas induced diesel engine over-speed.

ENVACON is an ISO 9001:2015 certified company. From the initial design development through to validation and ongoing production supply, we can implement and maintain Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) quality assurance and risk management/reduction procedures, including but not limited to Failure Modes Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Process Failure Modes Effects Analysis (PFMEA).
