Manual Actuation utilizes a pull cable accessible by the operator.
Cables are available in three sizes (10', 20', or 30').
12 VDC & 24 VDC available
Air-intake shut-off valve actuation mode decisions are typically driven by the available capabilities on or in close proximity to the engine. Although manual pull cables are used for some smaller engine applications, the majority of applications are either electric or pneumatically actuated. However, for larger engines, and for specific applications such as Fracking, there may be design factors or system availability concerns that reduce the practical actuation options available. For example, and due to heat and vibration concerns, electric actuation is not ideal for Fracking applications. Pneumatic or hydraulic actuation is more suited for the application severity and risks, with the latter offering a viable solution if a pneumatic system is not available or was eliminated due to Frack Trailer weight concerns.
